The international luxury lifestyle, design and art media 'LIFENESS' joins hands with Wu Jian'an, famous artist; Lea Chen, founding partner of SHISHANG DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE; Yudai Tachikawa, representative director of t.c.k.w., director of traditional crafts; and Celine CHO, founder and editor-in-chief of 'LIFENESS'. Embodying the ethos of the 'connoisseur', they will examine 'envisaging the orient', delving into the profound spirit of craftsmanship through varied lenses. By tracing traditional roots, they will explore the quintessential significance of modern material life and ponder the future trajectory of craft and design.

CEO and chief-editor of LIFENESS, which is a well-known luxury lifestyle and design media based in Shanghai, Beijing, Paris and New York. With over 8 years journalist career experience and thanks to its thorough analyses on the subject of interior creation within the ensemble of its applications (furniture, objects, interior architecture, fashion, new technologies ) and its original perspectives, LIFENESS achieved high recognition and became the bridge between east and west. Invested in the cultural development of design, she has been behind many exhibitions, conferences and events in China and abroad which have enjoyed great success and have been able to satisfy the public's growing interest in our beloved design industry.

Wu Jian'an, Artist, Professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts

Wu Jian'an was born in 1980 in Beijing, currently professor and Ph.D. degree tutor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have been collected by important institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (USA), the Museum of Fine Art, Boston (USA), the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (USA), Berkeley Art Museum.


Lea Chen, Founder of  SHISHANG DESIGN &  ARCHITECTURE

Ms. Lea Chen, a renowned architect, artist, and interior designer, In 2004, Ms. Chen established SHISHANG DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE, focusing on providing professional design solutions and consulting services for art and cultural spaces. Over past twenty years, she created a series of well-known projects in China, as well as in Southeast Asia and Europe. The team has provided interior design and design consultancy services to Jackie Chan, Feng Xiao Gang, Mei Ting, Jia ling, Karen Mok, Yang Lan, Dong Qing etc., and has cooperated many times with Louis Vuitton and other fashionable brands through cooperation, launching unique and popular design lifestyle projects and products.


Yudai Tachikawa, Traditional Crafts Director/President of t.c.k.w

Yudai Tachikawa focuses on bridging the gap between traditional craftsmen and designers. He leads the brand UBUSHINA, which customizes artistic decorations based on spatial needs. Recently, he launched a new brand, AMUAMI, focused on re-editing traditional techniques and their scenic applications.Additionally, he has long been responsible for directing the brand "NOUSAKU", an casting manufacturer based in Takaoka. His representative works include numerous prominent projects such as the Tokyo Skytree, Happo-en, and Palace Hotel Tokyo.
