ARTICLE 1. GENERALITIES

REVELATIONS CHINA is a trademark registered by Ateliers d'Art de France, organised by Global ACE. The second edition of REVELATIONS CHINA will be held Shanghai Exhibition Centre, from November 19 to 23, 2026. Global ACE, as the exclusive organiser of REVELATIONS CHINA, hereinafter referred to as "the Organiser".

In this context, the Organiser publishes a website dedicated to the Fair, accessible at www.revelations-china.com (hereinafter referred to as "the Website"). A section of the Website is dedicated to the Exhibitors (hereinafter referred to as "the Exhibitor Space").

When applying for participation, the Exhibitor has declared to have been made aware of the present Terms & Conditions, as well as all information regarding the details of their participation at the Fair in the "Practical Information" section of the Exhibitor Space accessible from the Fair's website, and has committed to accepting all clauses without reservation or restriction. Any admission to the Fair implies the full and complete adherence of the Exhibitor to these General Conditions as well as to all the documents referenced therein.

 

ARTICLE 2. EXHIBITORS

2.1. Required Conditions

The Fair is a commercial and cultural event reserved for professionals in the craft and creation.

Those considered as such include creators, artists, craftsmen, houses of excellence, art workshops and manufactures, galleries representing creators and/or works made by hand, publishers, foundations, schools, groupings and federations, and all private, public, or quasi-public organizations related to the crafts and creations, specifiers, and professionals whose work is based on "craftsmanship of good making", and in general, all players contributing to the excellence of handcrafted goods and objects as well as the promotion, in one form or another, of the crafts and design professions.

The Fair also accepts exhibitors who are active in sectors that can provide educational, institutional, tangible, or intangible support to the crafts.

2.2. Examination of Applications

The applicant-exhibitor submits their application by completing their file on the website www.revelations-china.com. Every request to participate in the Fair undergoes a preliminary examination by the Organiser, who will notably assess and verify, among other things but not limited to:

The alignment between their product and service offerings with the Fair's positioning.

The complete file is subjected to the selection by the Artistic Steering Committee.

The Artistic Steering Committee is composed of qualified personalities representative of the main artistic movements, professions, activities, and economic, educational, and informational sectors.

The Artistic Steering Committee evaluates all the participation requests for the Fair and makes its recommendations for the admission of exhibitors for the upcoming edition. The admission decision is valid for only one edition and does not grant any rights or priorities for subsequent editions.

The deliberations of the Artistic Steering Committee are held behind closed doors and are of a strictly confidential nature. The decisions made are final and do not have to be justified or publicly motivated. It is explicitly stated that the rejection of a participation file is a discretionary decision of the Artistic Orientation Committee and cannot give rise to any compensation.

The decision of the Artistic Orientation Committee (acceptance or rejection of the participation request) will be notified to the Exhibitor via email.

In the event of the Exhibitor's admission to the Fair, and once the contract is signed, the latter will be definitively committed to the Organiser for the total amount of their participation in the Fair.

Despite its acceptance and even after the allocation of exhibition spaces, the participation request from an Exhibitor whose affairs are managed, for whatever reason, by a legal representative or with their assistance, may lead the Organiser to exercise the option not to maintain the Exhibitor's participation. This especially applies to any request from a company apparently in a state of payment cessation between the date of the participation request and the opening date of the Fair.

The Organiser commits to providing the Exhibitor with a booth corresponding to the characteristics indicated by the Exhibitor in their participation request and to supply the additional services indicated in this request,

The Exhibitor commits to paying the amounts indicated in their contract and to adhering to these General Conditions as well as all the documents referenced in Article 1 above.

Pricing per square meter is based on prices posted on the Website.

The Exhibitor cannot cancel their participation in the Fair for any reason, including in the event of a disagreement over the allocation of a location as mentioned in Article 6 below.

The Organiser reserves the right not to process participation requests sent after the registration deadline set by the Organiser.

 

ARTICLE 3. PAYMENT TERMS

The payment of contractually due amounts is made according to the deadlines and terms specified below (except in the case of payment by direct debit):

  • Down payment of 50%: upon sending the signed contract. Payment by bank transfer.
  • Balance of 50% participation: by bank transfer, upon receipt of the invoice, and according to the schedule indicated, and at the latest 3 months before the Fair's date.

Any registration occurring less than ninety days before the Fair must be accompanied by the payment of the total amount of participation fees.

Any order for booth setup or communication tools (invitations, etc.) made after the exhibitor's registration must be paid in full upon order. The payment account and currency information will be provided on the invoice.

 

ARTICLE 4. ALLOCATION OF SPACES

The Organiser will make its best efforts to consider the preferences expressed by the Exhibitors and the nature of the displayed products. In this regard, given the constraints imposed by the placement of all Exhibitors, the Organiser reserves the right to modify the surfaces requested by the Exhibitor by up to 20% and consequently adjust the corresponding billing, without the Exhibitor being able to request the cancellation of their participation.

The Organiser alone decides the general layout of the Fair and the setup of the stands on the Site.

Any complaints regarding the space allocated to the Exhibitor must be submitted in writing to the Organiser within seven (7) days from sending the layout plan. These claims must be substantiated by a dossier precisely outlining the genuine and serious reasons for these claims. The Organiser will strive to address requests justified for location modification. The expiration of the seven (7) day period from sending the layout features implies the Exhibitor's acceptance of the allocated space. Under no circumstances will the Organiser be held accountable to the Exhibitor for any consequences that might arise from the allocated space. 

The location assigned to an Exhibitor is communicated via a map. This map provides as accurate measurements as possible for the exhibition space.

The Organiser's liability cannot be engaged if a discrepancy appears between the indicated measurements and the actual dimensions of the exhibition space. The map indicates the general division of the surrounding islands of the assigned space. These details, valid at the time of the map's establishment, are provided for informational purposes and may be subject to changes.

Unless otherwise stated, the location, stand, and equipment provided to the Exhibitor by the Organiser are deemed to be in good condition. The rented space must be returned to the Organiser clean and free of any waste. The stand and equipment supplied for its setup must be returned to the Organiser in good working condition. Any damage caused to the occupied space, the stand, provided equipment, or existing infrastructures, noted upon the stand's return, will be invoiced to the Exhibitor.

 

ARTICLE 5. SUBLETTING / CO-EXHIBITING

The Exhibitor cannot advertise, in any form, for companies that are not exhibiting. It is also prohibited for them to transfer or sublet all or part of the space allocated without first obtaining the written approval of the Organiser. The Exhibitor guarantees compliance, by the companies present at their booth, with these General Conditions. They are responsible for any violation of these conditions committed by the companies present at the booth. The Exhibitor also indemnifies the Organiser against all claims, disputes, charges, judgments, and various outlays that could come from companies present at the booth concerning their participation in the Fair.

The Exhibitor can only display products, brands, and services admitted as listed in their online booth reservation request. The Exhibitor also declares and guarantees that they hold the intellectual property rights related to the products or services displayed at their booth, or have been authorized by the rights holder to present these products, brands, or services at their booth. The Exhibitor certifies that the products or services displayed comply with safety standards imposed by current regulations and assumes full responsibility for any defects in said products or services, without any liability being sought against the Organiser.

 

ARTICLE 6. EXHIBITION SPACES

6.1. Types of spaces

The Exhibitor makes their choice among the types of spaces available, as described on the website and during their registration.

6.2. Sharing of exhibition space

An Exhibitor has the possibility to share their exhibition space with other Exhibitors whose application has been accepted. Each applicant must individually complete an application for participation and state their wish to share their exhibition space.

 

ARTICLE 7. WITHDRAWAL

Any cancellation by the Exhibitor must be notified to the Organiser in writing.

If an Exhibitor cancels their participation in whole or in part within three months prior to the start of the Fair, regardless of the reason, the Exhibitor shall still be required to pay the full participation fee. Accordingly, any payments already made in relation to the exhibition booth shall belong to the Organiser, and any outstanding amounts shall be paid immediately; this applies even if the booth is reassigned to another Exhibitor.

The overdue unpaid amount on the invoice will automatically incur a default interest, which will be calculated in accordance with Chinese law.

The stands will only be made available to Exhibitors after payment of the balance. After the allocation of the stand location, the balance of the price must be paid no later than the date indicated on the invoice.

It is specified that if an Exhibitor does not occupy their stand twenty-four (24) hours before the opening of the Fair to the public, for whatever reason, the Organiser may consider that the Exhibitor has canceled their participation in the Fair, and the conditions mentioned above will apply.

 

ARTICLE 8. INSURANCE 

8.1 Civil Liability

The Organiser is not responsible for damages that the Exhibitors might cause to third parties, including the manager and owner of the Site hosting the Salon. Consequently, if the certificate is not received 10 days before the show opens, the Organiser reserves the right not to accept the exhibitor. These contracts should cover the financial consequences of liabilities that may be incumbent upon them due to physical, material, and immaterial damages caused to third parties, including the Site manager and the Site owner, as a result of their activities during their participation in the Salon (including during setup and takedown periods.

The Exhibitor undertakes to provide the Organiser, upon their first request, with a corresponding certificate from their insurer, currently valid, indicating the subscribed guarantees, their amount, and their validity duration. Failing to do so, the Organiser reserves the right to prohibit the Exhibitor's access to the Salon without any compensation.

8.2 - Rental Risks and Exhibitor’s Assets

Furthermore, the Organiser is not responsible for:

 

Material damages caused to the Site manager and/or the Site owner, affecting movable or immovable goods, in the event of occurrences such as fire, lightning, explosions, water damage, attacks, and natural disasters.

Damages caused to the assets belonging to the Exhibitor or placed under their care.

It is up to each Exhibitor to complete customs formalities for materials, objects, and products from abroad. The Organiser cannot be held responsible for any difficulties that might arise during these formalities.

 

ARTICLE 9. LEGALITY OF INFORMATION

The Exhibitor is solely responsible for the content of the information provided by them and intended to be posted online on the website, particularly regarding products and/or services, characteristics, performances, prices, etc.

The Exhibitor guarantees the Organiser of the legality of said information, especially in compliance with current legislation regarding the naming, offering, presentation, instructions, or use, the description of the extent and warranty terms of a good, product, or service that they present online, and more generally in compliance with advertising law and consumer protection.

Texts, logos, illustrations, photographs, and visuals, products, and brands are disseminated under the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor, who alone bears any potential reproduction rights.

The Exhibitor indemnifies the Organiser against any amicable or judicial recourse by a third party.

 

ARTICLE 10. COMMERCIAL PRACTICES / UNFAIR COMPETITION

It is reminded that the Consumer Code explicitly prohibits sales with bonuses, selling below cost, pyramid sales, and tied sales, as well as dummy sales.

ARTICLE 11. COUNTERFEITING

The Exhibitor must personally ensure the intellectual and/or industrial protection of the materials, products, services, and brands displayed, in accordance with current legal and regulatory provisions. The Organiser is exempted from all responsibility in this regard, especially in case of a dispute with another Exhibitor or visitor. In the event of counterfeiting duly noted by a judicial decision, regardless of its date, the Organiser may require the Exhibitor to comply with the decision. Failing this, the Organiser reserves the right not to admit the Exhibitor or to apply the sanctions provided for herein, without the latter being able to claim any compensation.

 

ARTICLE 12. PHOTOGRAPHY / BRANDS – COPYRIGHTS

The Exhibitor expressly authorizes, free of charge, the Organisers of REVELATIONS CHINA:

To take photos and/or make films if they wish, representing the Exhibitor and the members of their team, as well as the products displayed on their stand;

To freely use these images on any medium, including advertising platforms (including the Internet), both in China and abroad, for a period of five years from the signing of this participation request;

To cite and reproduce their brand, or trade name, free of charge, as a business reference for the purposes of its communication, on any medium (including the Internet), both in China and abroad, for a duration of five years from the signing of this participation request.

The Exhibitor who does not want any part of their stand or one of the elements represented there (logo, brand, model…) or certain members of their team to appear in the films and/or photographs and/or the internet medium used for the promotion of the Exhibition must notify the Organiser in writing before the opening of the Exhibition.

Furthermore, the Exhibitor wishing to take photographs or videos of the Exhibition must inform the Organiser in advance in writing. In this regard, the Exhibitor will handle on their own the necessary authorizations for the photos taken during the Exhibition and will be solely responsible for respecting the right to the image that every Exhibitor has.

 

ARTICLE 13. CATALOGUE

Only the Organiser has the right to edit, or have edited, and distribute the Fair's catalogue. The information necessary for the drafting of the catalogue will be provided by the Exhibitors at their own responsibility. The Organiser will not be held responsible for any omissions, reproduction errors, composition errors, or other issues that may arise.

 

ARTICLE 14. CANCELLATION OF THE SALON DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of a change in the dates and/or the venue hosting the Fair decided by the Organiser for any reason, or any modification of these General Conditions which would not be immediately applicable in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, this change will be notified to the Exhibitor. Unless the Exhibitor cancels their participation application by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt sent to the Organiser within 15 days of said notification, the new dates and/or new hosting Venue for the Fair or the current version will be accepted.

 

In the event of the salon's cancellation by the Organiser due to the occurrence of force majeure, the Organiser will promptly notify the Exhibitors. In such a case, there will be no compensation. The following events will be considered as force majeure:

 

Events that are recognized as such by Chinese law,

As well as, regardless of their cause, events that make it impossible to operate the Site, specifically listed as follows:

Fires, explosions, flooding, storms, lightning;

Damage to technical equipment making it impossible to operate the Site;

Flooding, severe storms, damage from lightning;

A decision by an administrative authority to close the Site or to requisition it.

 

ARTICLE 15. PERSONAL DATA

The Organiser, acting as the data controller, processes the Exhibitor's personal data in connection with their application to participate in the Salon and their commercial relations with the Organiser, pursuant to these General Conditions of Participation. The Exhibitor's personal information and data are also processed for security purposes to comply with the Organiser's legal and regulatory obligations, as well as to allow the Organiser to enhance and personalize its services. Depending on the Exhibitor's choices in their participation request, they may also receive, through all channels, commercial offers and news related to the Organiser's activities and services. The Exhibitor's personal data is retained for the duration of their commercial relationship with the Organiser and then for a period of 5 years from the last sign of interest by the Exhibitor. Data required to establish proof of said relationship, data necessary for the execution of these general terms and conditions, and data required for the Organiser to comply with legal and regulatory obligations are retained in accordance with current provisions.
